Microsoft 365 connections

Anyone can sign in to AUVY with Microsoft. Connecting Outlook, Teams or SharePoint in a company Microsoft 365 directory needs an admin to approve it once.

Two separate apps

  • Sign in with MicrosoftThe AUVY identity app only asks who you are (openid, profile, email). Its verified publisher is AUVY GmbH. In most company directories, people can consent to it themselves.
  • AUVY Keyring connectorsOutlook, Teams and SharePoint go through a second app, AUVY Keyring. Microsoft treats its Graph permissions as high impact, so a tenant admin approves it once. After that, each person still connects with their own Microsoft account. Tokens are stored in Keyring in the EU, and AUVY does not train models on this data.

What an admin approves

  • OutlookMail, calendar and meetings of each person who connects. AUVY acts as that person.
  • TeamsChats, channels and messages the person can already see.
  • SharePointSites and files the person can already open.
