Withdrawal Notice

This notice is provided for consumers where mandatory distance-selling withdrawal rights apply. Business customers acting for a company or organization may not have the same statutory withdrawal rights.

Who this is for

This notice applies only where you are a consumer and mandatory law grants a withdrawal right for a self-serve digital-service subscription. If you use AUVY for a business, employer, public body, or other organization, your order form, DPA, MSA, or other commercial terms may apply instead.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.

— by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but its use is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the communication regarding the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Electronic withdrawal function (§ 356a BGB)

For consumer distance contracts concluded through AUVY's online interface, you may also use www.auvy.ai/withdraw. During the withdrawal period, the function is continuously available, prominently placed, easily accessible, and does not require login.

The first control is labelled “Withdraw from contract” or an equally unambiguous formulation. It lets you provide or confirm your name, the contract or part of the contract to be withdrawn, and the electronic contact for the receipt confirmation. A second control labelled “Confirm withdrawal” or an equally unambiguous formulation submits the declaration. AUVY sends a confirmation on a durable medium without undue delay containing the declaration and its receipt date and time. Use of the function is optional and does not restrict withdrawal by email or post.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal. For such reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction (refund processed via Stripe), unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

For a paid digital service such as an AUVY subscription, the right expires early only when the service has been fully performed and performance began after you expressly consented to performance before expiry of the withdrawal period, confirmed your knowledge that the right expires upon full performance, and received the legally required contract confirmation on a durable medium (§ 356 (4) BGB). Merely starting a continuing subscription does not by itself extinguish the right.

For separately supplied digital content not provided on a tangible medium, § 356 (5) BGB may apply where performance begins after your prior express consent, your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal, and provision of the required contract confirmation on a durable medium.

Subscription cancellation

Withdrawal is separate from ordinary subscription cancellation. The § 312k BGB cancellation function is available at www.auvy.ai/kuendigung, continuously and without login. It leads directly to a confirmation page limited to the required cancellation details and a final “Cancel now” control; AUVY provides the statutory electronic confirmation in text form. The Stripe-hosted billing management page remains an additional account-management path.
